Transportation

Program Description

Available Resources Assistance

The Transportation Program of EOLU aims to provide the Latino community with detailed information about public transportation options available in the State of Washington. We offer guidance on the use of cards such as the Orca Card, Orca Youth and Orca Lift, which provide discounts and facilitate access to public transportation. Additionally, we provide updates on changes in routes, schedules, and any other relevant information to ensure that users can travel efficiently and affordably. Our program seeks to ensure that the community has access to vital information to move around the city in an accessible and convenient way.
Orca Card
The ORCA card is the easiest way to pay your transit fares to get around the Puget Sound region. You just need to load your card at authorized centers.

Orca Youth
An ORCA card for youth is available for individuals aged 6 to 18 years old. It allows them to pay only $1.50 for their trip, including transfers to other services, within a 2-hour period. This includes the Link light rail, Sound Transit buses, Community Transit, and other participating agencies. Children under 5 years old can travel for free when accompanied by a paying adult.
Orca Lift
It works just like an Orca Card but at a reduced cost. If you qualify for the ORCA Lift program, you'll receive a registered ORCA Lift card in your name, with the same features as any other ORCA card. You can load funds onto the e-purse to pay for individual rides or add a monthly Puget Pass, which allows unlimited travel for that calendar month. For any special trips that cost more than your monthly Puget Pass, you can use the e-purse balance to cover the difference.
